Victorian Workcover Authority (or the relevant state authority see below) for advice on all workplace and occupational safety matters. In most instances this advice will be able to be given over the phone.

The Authority also provides advice on other matters including:

  • Manual handling (unloading food, supplies or equipment)
  • Personal protective equipment (broad brimmed hats, ear muffs, safety glasses)
  • Smoke-free workplaces
  • Heights
